2013 UEFA Super Cup

The 2013 UEFA Super Cup will be the 38th UEFA Super Cup, a yearly football match organised by UEFA and challenged by the dominant champions of the two principle European club rivalries, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. The match will emphasize Bayern Munich, the champs of the 2012–13 UEFA Champions League, and Chelsea, the victors of the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League. It will be played at the Eden Arena in Prague, Czech Republic, on 30 August 2013, and the first to be held far from the Stade Louis II in Monaco since it turned into an one-legged match in 1998.
The Eden Arena opened in May 2008 on the site of the previous Stadion Eden.It is the home stadium of SK Slavia Prague, who play in the Gambrinus liga. The fans having interest in Chelsea football matches can buy Chelsea hospitality packages easily from premier events at affordable price.

The match will be the first run through since 2004 that both finalists will contend without the administrators who won their UEFA separate trophies in the past period, as both Jupp Heynckes and Rafael Benítez left the clubs after the finish of the past time of year. The new administrators, Pep Guardiola and José Mourinho, will recharge a competition they imparted in Spain as directors of Barcelona and Real Madrid individually. Guardiola has twice won the trophy in his administration vocation, with Barcelona in 2009 and 2011. Mourinho has gone after the trophy just once in 2003 when his Porto entered as UEFA Cup holders and were vanquished by Milan. Since then Mourinho has twice won the Champions League however on every event left his club quickly thereafter and accordingly did not lead them into the Super Cup. To date, The UEFA Super Cup remains the main trophy that Mourinho has sought and not won.
